Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Ironstone Pressings GSM offers a savory / meaty nose with notes of Bovril and yeast extract over a core of kirsch, sandalwood and plum preserves, plus a waft of fenugreek. Medium to full-bodied with a good foundation of chewy tannins and plenty of freshness, it has a deliciously earthiness in the mouth, finishing long and spicy. RP
