Top chronometer certification: Swiss chronometer certification (COSC) + Rolex certification (after the movement has been installed in the case)
White dial
Lacquer is capable of producing almost infinite shades of color, strength and smoothness. The lacquering technique consists of depositing six successive thin layers of lacquer on a brass backing. A colorless varnish is then sprayed on to give the watch a deeper and more brilliant tone or shade. After the varnish dries, the watch is polished to reveal the colors, then pad printed and marked with inlays.
STEEL GOLD
Gold is a beautiful, noble and fascinating color. Steel is strong and trustworthy. The harmony of the two is combined with other characteristics. Gold and steel were the hallmark features of Rolex watches from the early 1930s until 1933, when the trademark name was officially registered. It is also one of the distinctive features of the OYSTER collection.
JUBILEE straps
The design, development and production of Rolex straps and buckles, as well as the rigorous testing they undergo, make full use of advanced technology. Like every other component of a watch, the straps and buckles are inspected to ensure that they are flawless. This flexible and comfortable five-pocket Jubilee metal bracelet was specially created for the Oyster Perpetual Datejust, which was launched in 1945.
